====== Retro2 ======

Retro2 ist bereits mein zweites Projekt ein Arcade Cabinet zu bauen. Details über das erste Projekt "Retrocade" findest du [[persoenlich:roland_lueckl:retrocade|hier]].

Das Projekt ist in der frühen Bauphase. Ziel ist es Arcade- und Konsolenspiele (durch Emulation auf Basis von [[https://retropie.org.uk/|RetroPie]] und [[https://emulationstation.org/|EmulationStation]]) sowie auch alte PC-Spiele aus den 90ern und 2000ern (auf Windows XP SP2, mit [[http://attractmode.org/|Attract Mode]] als Launcher) spielen zu können.

===== Das Kabinett =====

Ziel ist es, dass das Kabinett am Ende aussieht wie das original **Mortal Kombat II** bzw. **Killer Instinct 2** Kabinett von Midway.

Geplante Modofikationen:
  * 8 Knöpfe pro Spieler statt 5 (manche emulierte Spiele benötigen mehr).
  * 2 zusätzliche Knöpfe an den Seiten für authentisches Flipper-Feeling.
  * Ausziehbare Maus und Tastatur für PC Spiele.
  * Ggf. Staufach für ein Gamepad (statt Münzeinwurf).
  * Lautsprecher unten, seitlich, statt über dem Bildschirm.
  * Modernes Display (aktuell wird zum Testen ein EIZO FlexScan S2100 verwendet).
